I really enjoy my lights at night, even in the cold winter months. The fish never seem to be effected much if at all
with the extra light. I have it set so they come on at dusk and stay on for 6 hours and then go off. It extends the
time I get to enjoy the pond and looks kinda cool at the same time. I say keep the lights.

+1 on keeping the lights. Matter of fact add more lights.

I have a 2500 lumens led on my pond which I need to reposition in the center. My pond is a rectangle and the light doesn’t shine all the way through from one end to the other.

Hyper tough led lights I purchase from Walmart. They also have a 5000 lumens led also but it would Been too bright for my 1000 gallon pond.

Only lights I can find are shop lights. Are the ones you have underwater

. Mine are shop lights. As well. I would recommend 2 of the hypertough 2500 lumens. Super bright and compact packaging.

I went with just bullet style low voltage yard lights and mainly just wanted to light up the waterfalls.
Pretty inexpensive. Mine are halogen but they make LED ones as well.

You would be surprised at how much better it looks if you light the pond from above.
people like to vehemently defend their purchases and find it incredulous that anything could be better

Put a seating area next to the pond, and have nice quality string lights over the whole area so you can enjoy it all in the evening?

I see that tall corner post on the deck. You could put a couple of spot lights up at the top of that.

I just relocated my led hyper tough 2500 lumens light to the center of my rectangular pond to better better fish viewing.

Thanks gooodness I only got a single 2500 lumens and not dual lumens or 5000 lumens one.

Last pic has the shads hanging out cheers

Looks very bright. I agree that the 2500 is enough. Thanks for the photo, as it helped me get an idea of the lumens for my pond. I was thinking about 5,000, but not anymore.

Your pond is much bigger 8x and deeper. Maybe dual 2500 lumens led for compactness. The 5000 lumens packaging is 4x the size of the hypertough 2500 and is a square and off looking way too big for my set up

Well, the pond is now several months old. We are slowly landscaping and trying to improve the look. My wife wanted the stainless shower hidden so we just put up a cover on it. Our next step will be to bring in plants and things to soften up the surrounding area. Here’s a few pics in the next post.

I had someone stone the pond. The bakki shower is hidden with faux stone panels that we felt looked similar to the stone. I made a basic frame and that was my diy for the job. We look forward to getting some large plants or trees and making the area look more natural.
