There has been a lot of interest in these, so packages are going quickly. Make sure to order early so that you do not miss out.

I just PM'd back and forth with Zac and snagged the two Tancho Kohakus. It was a request from Sweetie, so how could I not get them. I'm in for 7 Koi now, so I better stop.

      Thanks Zac

Would a plain old fashion glass aquarium be enough for these guys? Maybe preferable for a while yet? I don't have time to build the QT that I want, plus these guys are very small. Would a 40 gallon tank be enough for 7 fry? Maybe a 55 gallon would be better?

      Thanks for your thoughts guys.

      Brad

I don't see a problem. We kept fingerlings in a 47 gallon tank until they got to be about 5" to 6" long.

as usual, over filter and change water often.

Yeah Brad an aquarium will be fine as long as the filtration is good enough.

Okay i have decided to cut this back a little bit so that there are better fish going to everyone. There have been lots of orders, and I am only going to allow 100 more fish to be ordered. That seems like a lot, but it could only be ten more people.

Get you order in now, so you don't miss out on some good fish.

The Chagoi are growing like crazy!!!!!!!!!!!

      Zac,
Still have some Soragois left? If so I'm in for two higher quality fish package. One chagoi, one soragoi.
I'll pay tomorrow (7/24) if you still have a nice light soragoi left for my wife.

Zac, What carrier do you use for shipping? UPS? FedEx? DHL?

Not that it matters, I just want to know which truck to watch for...

      Thanks

I just checked, Express Mail is a by 3:00 p.m. overnight delivery. I'm not sure if the USPS has another overnight service or not. That time isn't an issue for me... but I thought I'd post this info so others are aware of the delivery time.

Big announcement!!!!!!!!!!!!! There has been a delay in me getting the freeze dried bloodworms on time for this group buy. I will not be able to get them before the 29th so the shipment date will have to be moved back until the following week. The new shipment date will be Tues Aug 4th.

I know some people will be inconvenienced by this and I sincerely apologize. If you have already requested that i hold onto your shipment until a later date that still applies and your fish will ship on our agreed upon date.

But if the new shipment date causes problems for you please PM or E-mail me so we can work out the best date to ship your fish.

Again I am sorry for the delay.

Thought I'd post a snap or two of the new tank I setup for these little guys. Can't wait till they get here. The tank has been setup for a week, but been too busy to take a snap let along post it.

The heavy duty metal stand was a last of it's kind on clearance for $4 (yup, four bucks). The 2 by lumber set me back $9 and the 40g tank is a floor demo model from a few years back and also on clearance for $150 (came with heater, filter, hinged top, light, air pump, and flake food). All in all a pretty reasonable setup.

The chocolate plecos is named coco and the bakers dozen neon tetras don't have a name yet (but they school real nice). I guess only 12 are pictured, but thats all I paid for anyway.

I'm off to my daughters play in 30 and then strait to the airport from there. Chat with you guys in week plus.

      Brad

I hear ya. Just went to pick up 600 lbs of 3/4 rock for my sand gravel filters and it was about 90 at 8am...gonna hit 106 today. Better get a-layerin' rock before the real heat sets in.
