I will be seeing Fred this weekend and put a bug in his ear that we would like an update. I know he should have some updates and new photos so I will try to twist his arm to share them.

The 8500 pump is on his QT which is 2,000 gallons. He has 2-ESS9600 pumps and a ESBB10500 pump running the pond.

Visited Fred yesterday and took a couple of shots with the cell phone. Check out his new bridge.

      Good job on the bridge!

Looks like all the plantings are beginning to fill in also.

Wow, amazing pond and awesome thread. I like the details and how well you've documented the whole process. Any more full view shots of the entire pond and backyard? Awesome job, I'm jealous and speechless.

I measured about 17" on a dirty s/g, and about 11" when clean, iirc.

This is an incredible thread !!! Thanks for all the details.

I have the pond bug ... and my planning is in the beginning stage. This thread will help immensely. Much appreciated.

Thanks for all the detail on your build, it's a huge help in figuring out how to build mine. Hopefully you will post some updated pics of it now that it's been running for quite a while and let us know of anything that you would do differently or any issues that have come up with the way it was built. Thanks again for all the precise detail.
