I have a black comet that I was thinking of entering into the Koi & goldfish show. I understand it's a type of hybrid. If I can enter it, should it go under goldfish? If so whould I put it under single tail or special variety?
If this is any problem at all I just will not enter it.

      Thanks

As a comet, it would go into the single tail variety. Put er up. The more the merrier, and you never know what the outcome will be until the end.

All right. Lets get this "Show on the Road" Entries have to be submitted by November 10th at 11:59PM and so far we have more ribbons than we have entries. If it stays like this everyone will be getting big ribbons. Don't you want to be one of the winners? Won't happen if you don't enter.

If anyone has any problems with entering a koi or goldfish, please PM me. If you enter a fish that you would like to have removed to make room for a better fish, PM me. If you have trouble classifying a fish and the rules don't clarify it for you, PM me.

The arena is to open very soon and you will be able to see the fish that have been entered, Make at least one of the pictures be your fish so we can enjoy a bountiful show.

Getting closer. The Koi Arena and Goldfish Arena are now live. Check out the competition. Still a lot of room in this show for your babies to shine like new money. Get-R-Done. Just a few days to the deadline.

Time is running out for getting your fish entered, For entries that have not been benched, the pictures do not show up in the arena. As soon as we have the fish benched, you will see the new additions. As always, if theere are any questions, just post here or PM.

There is only a week and a couple of hours until the ability to enter fish in the show expires. Get them in.

We will be having seminars, raffles, a good time of evening chat, awards, during the show. But to be included in the raffles, you need to get your raffle tickets. Awards sponsors are needed. There are only a few that have been sponsored so far. For the vendors, their web site will be linked to their name as sponsor for a given award.

Visit the web site http://www.wwkcinternetkoishow.com/ and see about entering into the fun.

Entries are really shaping up for the koi, almost a hundred so far. The goldies are quite a ways back, so for all you goldfish keepers, are you really going to let the koi keepers do all the winning. For goldfish, there are still a lot of ribbons that will go unclaimed, unless we get more goldies entered. Deadline for entry is November 10 at 11:59PM.

Award sponsorship is almost non-existent, lots of awards that need sponsors. Whether it is breeders, retailers, suppliers, builders, or hobbyist, the show needs to have sponsors to help pay for the ribbons and other expenses.

Raffle tickets are available for the raffles for the quilt, the books Kukugyo, and for the other raffle items that we hope to have donated.

Lets keep working toward making this the best show possible.

This show is going to be big. A little bit ago, I saw that we had 160 koi entered and 45 goldies. There have been 63 people register as entrants, of which 27 are shown as novice, but only 38 of these entrants had entered fish yet, 14 of which are novice. This means 25 people have shown intrest but not gotten the pictures entered. You only have until tomorrow night at 11:59PM EST to get your entries in. Get-r-done.

I will look into this, but I am fairly certain that as long as you submitted the pics in time, it doesn't matter if they are not approved right away.

Ronnie, as long as your entries are in by the deadline they will be entered into this show. It takes our benchers a little time to get to all of the fish entered.
