Well done. .. a champ already , nice .. So did u take him home already . It is cold here and I am thinking my one will have to spend the winter in the basement with the QT chagoi . too cold to go in the pond .

I agree. I'll take my champ home when I go this afternoon and keep looking for a nice tancho.

Tosai are always a gamble, and a tancho tosai is usually a long shot, so you want to be pretty sure about your purchase.

True carl . I wouldnt buy a tancho without the perfect circle and less than nisai I guess . kodama seem to get some nice ones .

Pretty close to an echo of what Bart(Hammerhead) told me. And I value his advice very highly. He's taught me a lot about Koi and I feel like I'm learning from one of the best.

After watching, and helping, him at the SC Koi show this weekend, it was obvious that many others feel the same way.

I'm going to "unstick" this thread. Hopefully, this weekend I'll get a chance to set up a forum for this group buy in the growout forum and label the fish that were picked.

If anyone is interested in purchasing any of the unselected tosai, please contact Brady directly. They will be available for a week and then will be placed back in the mud.

If you do purchase any, please report on their progress in this forum even though their purchase would not be an "official" part of the group buy. It would still add to our education regarding these koi.
