We can't get rid of the stuff and it seems to be taking over the entire yard.

I have calache instead of dirt...no humidity and 100* most days so far in June. The cottontails are even eating my hen and chicks.

I'm thinking of only planting off this list and maybe I'll have a little color around here.

I made this mistake too with the variegated variety. Looks really nice in the pot, doesn't it? It even invaded my bog and was a nightmare to get out of the irises and pickeral. It would be near the top of my list as well.

How much you want Sue? LOL.
I've got lots of morning glory too.
My Evening Primrose is beautiful but it has now taken over the azaleas and makes them look trashy.

Virginia creeper and briars take over the shrubbery here - they are really hard to get rid of.

I have the worst problem with Chameleon plant, pulled tons of roots out in spring and have three times as much spreading, love horsetail but another pain in the neck.

I got a start of something I later found was called " bishops weed " from my mother inlaw...actually wouldn't be a bad plant, but it sunburns really badly in the middle of summer and gets ugly. Spreads fast and the running roots break when you pull it up.

No blue rug juniper around on this property anymore. It is horrible and will slowly take over your property. We called ours 'Audrey' like in that movie...lol! Took us a whole summer to eradicate it from the property, using trucks, wenches, clippers and rolled it up like a carpet finally.

Bamboo and Morning Glory....neither of which I planted.....they both are coming up from my neighbors....He is trying to get rid of them also now.
It's interesting to read this thread...how many plants are the same all over the country, others are more regonial.

I know this is a very old thread, but I have spent the last two mornings trying to dig out runners and the main bush that have taken over my flower bed. It is in the
roses, hibiscus, lilies, and snowball bushes. My daughter bought it for me from Lowes about three years ago. I don't know what it is, and have tried to research to
      no avail. Grrrrr....

I had an area by my old condo professionally landscaped and she planted the kind of mexican petunia that spreads. it completely obliterated the whole garden area and is now solid petunia. she should have known better.

I have filled two wheel barrows and still am trying to get the stump from the main plant out. I am sending what the runners look like. I hope that is enough
      to identify it.

Does it loose it's leaves in the winter? Does it bloom in the spring?
