As y'all may know, violets make thousands of tiny little seeds and they can last for hundreds of years underground!
Because we flood irragate our yard, we also get wild violets in the yard. In the spring our yard is a sea of purple, its pretty at first, but a pain later. lol We also get wild mint in our yard. Thats another one that is hard to get rid of. Spray doesn't kill either one of these.

wisteria vines. the sucker shoots are coming up everywhere. flowered last year for the 1st time and now the seeds are germinating, so new little plants are popping up all over.
bittersweet vines. planted it many years ago. got rid of it pretty quickly, but the birds have been spreading it ever since. has lots of berries that birds love. every time i find a vine with an orange root i just want to kick myself.
i'm sure there's more.

MINT!!!! That is the only thing that has survived the hail storm. Everything else is wiped out.
Lamb's ear... Ugh- I hate it and it is a bumblebee magnet...

I've found that wisteria is very invasive and will choke large trees. The vine can get huge and woody - several inches in diameter. Also red tip bushes - they start out as attractive shrubs, but send out runners and you can end up with a forest of trees from one bush - hate those things! I wish I had never planted them.
#1 invasive plant for me is Virginia Creeper, #2 is gout weed.

Funny about the Bermuda because I moved to Tulsa from Austin and couldn't believe people actually planted Bermuda here because in Austin its considered a weed and grows so fast and tall it is 3 feet high in a week.
Virginia creeper is very invasive here in NC, too. I like bermuda grass - wish my whole yard had it. It's very hardy and much easier to take care of than centipede or St. Augustine. I mostly have weed grasses in several areas, but when I mow them and they are green and blend in, I'm not too picky about it.
I am adding another vote to get rid of the Chameleon plant, it will grow under water and under the cement here. And after one dormant winter it came up plain green and isn't even pretty anymore.
Try crossbow, it kills then dead and wont kill any grass or ferms.
Same here, I am about to give up on flower beds and let the grass have everything and plant in pots and planters.
