      CFKS Pictures

All pictures of fish from a crappy photographer. Hope you enjoy. And I'm sorry I missed a few of you....but just didn't know the faces. And where in the hell was Gene? I was looking forward to talking and never saw him all weekend.

Great shots Rob, its a shame to be so close to people you converse with on the net but don't get a chance to meet.
Like me, unless you recognize someone, its hard to start up a conversation.
Next time buddy..... at shows don't be shy,(I know, we all are) you never know whos behind that face...

I wore my ID badge on friday but forgot too pin it on saturday. Weird thing is I had people come up to me on friday who don't even post but only read the boards.
There is nothing like meeting fellow koi kichi at shows.....considering when you speak to normal people (co workers, family, friends)during the year they think you are nuts about "Just a fish".
It's also funny too listen to the tourists talking about the big goldfish under the tent that sell for thousands of dollars...when there are some great ones in the hotel koi pond. NOT

Yep, I bumped elbows with a few droppin folks. Just happened to be passing by. When I explained what was going on, that folks spent thousands on building a pond, spent $$$ on these fish, packed them up to drive 1000's of miles to a show. They just looked at me and said, REALLY? When I said yes, they looked back into the tanks, their eyes glazed over looking at the beauties and came back to me in that short time and said, auuhhh yes, they are stunning!! How did you get into this hobby? Can anyone do this? Oh, sure, it's easy, no problem, you just need to....what? Fall in love with these babies...

So Bart, how come you didn't "enlighten" them. It would have made a great story describing the looks on their faces! Jeannie
