      Got Goldfish??????????

      Got Goldfish?
      Post pics of yours here.
I would love to see everyone's pics of your goldies.
Give us some history about your fish.
      How long are they?
      How old are they?
Do they stay in your pond year round?
      Do they have names?
Do you feed anything other than fish food?

      Inside tank goldfish too.
I would love to see your inside set ups.

I will start by posting pics of my Sarasa's & Shubunkins.
They go up to 8 1/2 years old. My longest one is 14".
A few do have names - not all. They stay out all year long.

      NEXT?????

Beautiful Goldies Nancy , the Sarasas are exceptional with the true Reds a Sarasas should have, its sad some pet shops pawn off orange and white comets as Sarasas to the untrained hobbiest.

my shubunkins and one red capped oranda. They stay in pond year-round. Red and black one is Dory....3 years old, 8 inches long. 2nd one is Smurfette - we think 3 years old and 9 inches long. Then there's Red, 3 years old, 8 inches long. Last is our red-capped oranda....the pond hussy. She has everyone's babies. 6 inches long, 3 years old.

I really like your fish! Pretty impressive!

My fish stay outside all year with a tank heater. My lilies were blooming before school was out. I feed Wardley pellets and flakes...also TetraFin flakes...fish perfer the TetraFin but I can't always get it.

Just WM fishes here.4 orange about 5 years...8" to 10" feeder fish I think I paid 29 cents

      1 colored about 5 years paid $1.88

      3 colored fantails 3 years paid $1.88

about 15 assorted babies from last year...were keep indoors in aquariums til spring

numerous babies from this year will go in future lily ponds...I hope

Here are some of mine! I have my orandas inside in a pond in the sunroom. The others are Sarassas, Shubunkins, and some fantails in my outside pond. They are all my original fish, and are 5 yrs old now. I feed them a variety of bloodworms, some tetra pellets, also some freeze dried shrimp. They also get leaf lettuce, and watermelon.

I really like your orandas, Southern Star. Its not that easy to find them that are red to the ends of their fins. Most of them go clear before the very outside edge. Very nice!

I have one renegade. When I built the big pond I gave away all my goldies, they found a baby about an inch and swore to me it have barbels. Like I said I have one renegade goldie. A plain ole gold comet.

The history of my fish is that I got them from a pet shop and put them in my pond. Yep I feed them Flakes and pellets. For a treat for them I soak the pellets in orange juice (I squeeze fresh oranges into a container and soak the pellets overnight). I'm trying to intoduce daphnia to the pond, so far unsuccessful (I failed because of greedy fish ) I think they might be around about 1-3 years old. Their names are Fish1, Fish2, Fish3, Fish4... Fish10, Fish11 & Strawberry & Cream (I guess you can tell which that one is in the photos) . Their size is from 1.5 inchs to 3.4 inchs

a couple of a shubunkin inside a tank.

Wife named her Sparkle. From the top, she glistens....

this was during a water transfer, so we put her in a 3 gallon aquarium to get a couple side shots.

I believe Sparkle is a male........notice all the little pimples on his gill plate and even up by his eye? Signs of a male. Beautiful fish too. I love the goldies. Wish I could get some pics of a few of mine, I have some sarassas, shubbies and some plain old pond goldfish, a few are a cross with my koi, so are sterile. Keep the pics coming, they are really pretty. Fish to me, koi, all varieties of goldfish are just like jewels in clear water and a real treat to see. Jeannie
