So i take it Wakins would be just fine in a koi pond
Like in my case an indoor pond is not feasable.
I really liked the pics I saw of a few pond here with a large school of these, would make a nice addition to the 4 or 5 koi I was planning for my pond.
(my pond= 13' x13' x 6', 1000 gallon settlement chamber and DIY filters and trickle tower.)

The are very hardy and cold does not seem to bother them at all!!!

They can survive under a sheet of ice.... Not only that, Wakin are more winter hardy than koi.....given the right environment they can get up to 16" long!!!
