      I have wild tomotillos

      They come up every year. These came up by the lily pond. Neighbor used to eat them no one else does though.

      You don't use them either, Gar? A gal that worked for me a very long while back made some kick butt salsa with them!

      Oh yes, they are used in many salsas. Gary is so lucky they grow in his zone.

      Salsa verde is made with tomatillos..is why it's green and not red. Our hispanic foreman likes the purples ones the best. They come back every year

      Looks just like the Chinese Lanterns that grow wild here-the 'lantern' turns red...I'll have to get a pic tomorrow, they're up by the woods.
