Sorry to hear about those losses. I'm hoping that with them being that difficult to catch, that there are really more in there than just the 16 you caught. Sounds like your decision not to move them all to the mud pond paid off. You are really getting a crash course this spring in all manner of koi breeding issues.

What scale types are you seeing on the little shusui? I know there was the one in the wrong container that looked leather.
