A hidden leak...

Ugh!
Found out the pond is leaking.
Filters are off, because one broke and the other froze & I haven't turned it back on.
Topped off. Lost water. Moved the bog output directly back to pond.
Topped off and...lost water.

A leak in the actual pond! In the 20×30ft pond!
Water is still way too cold to just jump in.
Haven't topped off again, waiting to see if it dtops any further.
Do I peel the liner back all around to find this leak?

9 days to drain to the same amount as the day I realized that the leak was in the main liner. Been raining, so haven't checked again.

What do I back the liner with to stop the rat or w/e got through? It has a proper underlayment.

Watch it without adding water and when the water stops dropping that should give you a start level to start looking if it's the liner, hope this helps.

It is the liner. There's no other possibility, I've cut those all off or rerouted so it cannot leak. =(

Level went down further...What the heck damaged it??
Haven't gone in to search yet. Hopefully soon. Still working on cleaning the plants and repairing all of the winter damage...
