      Lesion on doitsu

The grey spot has been on this fish for at least a year, but today is the first day that a hole developed in it. It looks like an angry little volcano. Can anyone help me diagnose it?

The grey spot on the back? You can either treat with iodine once and observe, or get tricideneo, mix with fish slime, and rub it in the area, and observe.

Also, what's your water parameter? Can you upload more pictures as I can't really see it being a hole, thanks.

Maybe it's just a damage scale that needs to be regrown.
