Restocking pond after 10 years inactive

I recently got my contemporary pond back in order and am looking for koi. If anyone out there near south Orange County, CA. has too many koi, I,m willing to adopt them. Incidently, when I put the pond in mothballs (I had to move to Mchigan for 5 years) I gave my koi (7) to a neighbor in Laguna Niguel, but I lost his name and info.

I got some extra but Florida is kinda far away.

I lost all mine after hurricane Ian and had to start over. NextDayKoi is inexpensive for small koi and they are pretty decent looking

I don't have any to give away, but I'm also in SoCal (San Diego). If you're looking for a good place to buy some new ones, I can recommend a few dealers.

That’s awesome that you're getting your pond going again! I’ve been through a similar situation—had to shut mine down for a few years while I moved for work. When I got back, I reached out to a few local pond owners through Facebook groups, and I ended up adopting a few koi that way. It’s a great way to find fish, and they often come from people who need to rehome them because they’ve grown too big.
