I hope this message finds you all well. I am a koi fish enthusiast based in Illinois. I’m excited to share that I am planning to sell koi fish through eBay to hobbyists across the United States, shipping them via UPS Next Day Air.

I currently hold an aquaculture permit from DNR that allows me to sell koi within Illinois, but I’m looking to expand my business and reach koi enthusiasts in other states. However, I have encountered some challenges in understanding the regulations and permits required to sell koi fish outside of Illinois.

I have diligently searched online for information regarding the requirements in other states, but I haven’t found clear guidance. If any members of this community have experience with interstate sales of koi fish or know the specific permits needed for shipping to other states, I would greatly appreciate your insights and advice.
