I Just want to cry at this point

Before I even start to explain, I just want to say that all my water parameters are fine except for phosphate being a little high. OK, so, my fish were flashing, and after a scrape, I discovered skin fluke. I have been treating my pond for flukes for over four weeks now. I started out with Aqua Prazzi and retreated after the third day in case of any eggs. The fish continued to flash. I gave them a second treatment, same thing after the third day another treatment so in total for treatments of Aqua Prazzi. The fish continued to flash. I did a second scrape, I didn't find anything, but I figured it was still fluke. So then I tried fluke M. Seven day treatment. The fish continue to flash. And then another treatment of fluke M. This treatment will end tomorrow and the fish continue to flash. They don't slow down. It seems like they're flashing even more. I did another scrape. I found absolutely nothing. PH is fine. No ammonia, no nitrites. I really don't know what else to do. Does anybody have any other suggestions?

Can you provide KH values and actual pH values. If you are not finding anything with a scrape, then it is more likely something with the water. If you don't have a KH test kit, I hope the pH test is the high range drop pH test or a pH pen, and get a reading early in the morning and late in the afternoon. Low KH can cause wild shifts in the pH which will cause irritation.

This might help you, catch each fish that flashes and confirm it has flukes.

Just one way of eliminating the reasons for the flashing.

Then move onto what might be another problem.

I would definitely ensure that pH is stable and KH is high enough before catching every fish that flashes.

I am afraid that you may have taken all the hassle for nothing. If you wonder what I mean you can read my thread: Koi flash for no obvious reason ...

My experience is that flashing alone is not a sure sign of parasite problem, nor is one scrape showing one fluke. Better wait and see whether one more sign comes up, like redness, ulcer, lethargy, lack of appetite, etc.

Of course, provided that the water parameters are good.

Ph in the morning was 7.8
      Ph at night was 8.0
KH was 5 I added buffer
But I did treat with abroad spectrum disease, treatment for three days. They did stop flashing. Today I did a water change to take that out of the water and now they’re back to flashing again.

I've read it takes a couple weeks for the fish to heal their skin and stop flashing, how long has it been?

I finished me last fluke treatment last week. This week I did the broad spectrum disease. That’s the formalin and malachite green. I did that for four days. I just did a water change today and the only thing I added was prime and some aqua medzyme. I thought they were really done flashing. But then I looked this evening and they started all over again.

Fish will also flash if exposed to too much pesticides or meds. Don't get caught up in events and over treat or treat too often.

The fluke treatment was a week ago. And four days ago was the broad spectrum.

Do nothing for a couple of weeks except monitor pH and add baking soda if needed to prevent pH swings morning to evening, and if the flashing is still occurring then look at repeating treatments. Give them a chance to heal from the parasites and the treatments for the parasites.

I guess it would depend on the severity of the fluke infestation. My experience is 2 to 3 days.

How much of a water change and what was the ph of the added water. 5 kh is ok. 7.8 to 8.0 is good.

I echo Richards advice. If your fish have been flashing for sometime, it can take up to 3 weeks for the breaks in their skin that the flukes cause to heal. Fluke-M is a very effective treatment. If you’ve used the proper amount for your pond gallon size, it should have worked. Give them 3 to 4 weeks to heal and settle down. Remember at this point they’re used to flashing and think it’s normal behavior. They need to stop itching, and settle down.
