Fluke-M is what you need, you can dissolve in BSDT. How many tricide neo treatment you still need to do?

At this point I feel it's better to just return all your fish back to the main pond, and treat the whole water system, since you've treat the pond recently, I would recommend some water change than do 1 dose of BSDT + Fluke-M together and don't do water change for 7 days, then water change, and do another BSDT + Fluke-M for 7 days. You can use iodine to treat the ones that is not healing well by dressing the wounds once (don't get into the eyes mouth or gills), rinse, then return to pond.

You need to kill the bugs before your fish can heal, are the fish lethargic?

I have prazipro on hand. Im reading fluke-m is for a different type of fluke bacteria?

All the fish are active and eating. No flashing

fluke is parasite, not bacteria. Yes, you can use Prazi, but people have been noting that the bug has developed resistance against prazi and fluke-M is more effective.
I'll start treating with what you have and see how it works.

I scraped the red section near the tail on the large white koi and I only see flukes on the scope. However, I notice a lot of liquid movement at 400x. Is this another bacteria or just the water moving around?

Again, you need to eradicate the parasites before your fish can heal. You need all the fish back in the pond and treat the whole pond including your filters, bog, and plants in it. Once your pond water is medicated you can get the fish out to treat them and return to pond, don't bother with QT.

I don't see anything obvious on your latest scope but I need a bigger screen to check again. What I would do given fluke is known....I would treat with BSDT + Prazi and repeat in 7 days....the reason being I want the fluke to be knock back ASAP and I don't really want to wait 3 more days to start Prazi, someone wiser can verify or recommend differently.

I don't know when you treated with BSDT, did you treat the whole pond with filter on with all fish in? If so, then just treat with Prazi. If you remove the fish to QT before BSDT then to be safe you should treat with BSDT.

Parasites are not bacteria, they are literally eating your fish alive.

Since today was the 7th day of tricide neo treatment I was planning to put them all back into the main pond and start with prazipro. But I just noticed the new koi with the big ulcer so I moved him to the quarantine tank and left the large white one and the yellow one in there as well. Both the pond and quarantine tank have been treated with bsdt starting 2 days ago and today was the third treatment. I also treated both the pond and quarantine with prazipro.

For now I'll continue to treat the one koi with tricide neo dips for another 6 days and a second treatment of prazipro in a week.

As long as you treat all your water with the same regimen you would be ok moving them around, but note that when you exchange the water you reduce the efficacy and you need to supplement the lost medication proportionally

Nice. Watch the progression very closely. Koi is not out of the woods yet. If any redness comes back up it should be treated immediately.

I need to have meds on hand in case it gets worse. If so, should I treat with tricide neo again ?

I feel like the ulcers on the white koi are not showing signs of progress but I treated with tricide neo for 7 days straight. Anything else I should be doing at the moment? Any other meds?

Baytril injection if you can get them. Or oxolinic acid 0.5ppm in QT. You can treat with TricideNeo again

Those are not your run of the MILL bacteria and parasites causing such severe wounds.

Those wounds need an antibiotic course,to help clear them up.

You are going to need an age restriction soon, on some of the pics you are showing.

Those pics are not creating a very good impression to future Koi hobbyists.

I really thought posting #7 and # 34 was probably what was causing these ugly issues.

It's such a bother to read them, and follow up on the culprits?

who knows. without lab work its impossible to tell what bacteria. My point was fish can and do get ulcers without parasites in the picture. And its very possible the parasites he has came due to the long term ulcer problems. Fish is stressed. Parasites take advantage and reproduce. But not necessarily the reason for the ulcers.

Using Tricide direct application one time has proven to be far more effective for me than multiple dips (which also burns the gills). If you are going to use Tricide again and want to know the direct application method, let me know.
