After 18 years my Sac Koi Advantage is going bye bye. It got impacted, blew out the internal plumbing and the multiport valve. Unfortunately we put our filter system on a concrete pad and built the pump house around the filter. So….tight quarters prevented us from repairing it. Lol, we had to cut the old filter as it was too big for the doorway. Replaced it with a AlphaNano 4.5. Do any of you own one of these? Will clean up the spilled media and paint the plumbing so it won’t look so ugly.

Tie-dye is in style again. No need to paint. Your old filter gave you many years of good service. Lot of work cutting up and removing. Don't know anyone with this filter. Post your results in the future.

I’d be interested in hearing a comparison between the old SAC and your new Alpha Nano. Also, what size pond do you have? 18 years is a good run!
