If possible and room is available I would recommend not mixing these two spawns for the first six months that will allow you to recognize the difference in both lines and allowing you to document, That's just a recommendation.

Orlando, I totally agree, and this was my plan. I'm very curious to see the differences between these two Goshiki groups.

If so, all the more reason for the fry from that spawn to be larger than from the goshiki X goshiki spawn.
Correct, the male kohaku used in the goshiki X (goshiki + kohaku) is MUCH larger than the male from the (goshiki X goshiki) spawn. However, the females from these two spawns are very similar in size. Also note that both males used in the goshiki X (goshiki + kohaku) had participated in a spawn the night before, and we still got very good fertilization rates.

Very good data point there! I'm sure giving them more time would help fertilization some, but a day's rest still works well.

I spent some time yesterday hunting tobies. Pulled several, but couldn’t get the largest one. It is quite large, pure white, and fast! Anyone care to share their best Tobie catching tricks? I’m considering trying a minnow trap – thoughts?
