What size pump would be the max size pump you could use on a 2-in SLO overflow?

Bottom drains are more efficient for solids collection and typically you'll find them or retrofit drains for ornamental fish ponds. Only place I've seen SLO is small aquaponic set ups or small holding tanks. Most likely some info is on aquaponic sites.
Can you build in an inverted P TRAP at the end of the return pipe?
The poop collects in the trap,as more poop collects there is less space for the moving
water.
Bits of poop will then be drawn up the pipe by the velocity of the water.
More poop will reduce the size of the p-trap pipe size.
More poop will be lifted,to enlarge the p-trap opening and so the p- trap acts as a poop
lifter.
The faster the water travels the less poop is allowed to sit in the trap.
A method used in refrigeration to get your your compressor oil accumulating in the
evaporator coil installed below the refrigeration condensing unit.
Typically you can reduce the pipe riser, by one size down,to increase the water velocity up.
Rather than increase your pump size.
Is this barking up the right tree?
