      Question 4 Tosai please judge

Here are some things ive noticed and would love to get more opinions and feedback
SU & HU - a lot of sumi patches
Kohaku - has a singular beni scale near gill
Yamabuki - has some "wrinkles" on head

Would also love to know if they are male/female (ik its difficult to tell when they are this young but would love to get your opinion based on your perspective and experience)

PS: not trying for show koi or anything just a fish lover who's been having aquariums for almost 8-10 years and recently got into ponds

Muddy head on the shiro utsuri but the dice haven't quit moving and the black has me confused as to whether it is going to be tar or blackboard black. The Kohaku has the best genetics but the pattern is so plain that the gill opening just destroys it as far as anything to take to a show.
That yellow thing is two levels below the rest in general. A solid colored koi should be PERFECT in every regard. That one is just "OK."
The hi utsuri pattern is less than mediocre because the front half and back half are opposites. The best thing to hope for on that fish is that all the black comes in and you will have a black Kohaku (not a real thing but it would be amusing. And it would be a twin of the goshiki.).
Out of the four I like the heavy front-patterned goshiki the most. Goshikis are such a shock to the eye because of their color. And this one blows up my brain with that pattern even if the back end sucks.
ALL of them are excellent pond fish, but you posted in the "judge" section.

Ko = red, Haku = white? I probably like the Hi Kitsuri the most, the Kohaku is okay.

      They’re great learning koi
I think the shiro utsuri is male and when the sumi (black) fills in will be balance pattern
Kohaku has traditional 2 steps pattern and has too much shashi for the red plate to finish so try to pick young kohaku with cleaner edge/ around hiban I think this might be a girl
      Yami is not too impressive
I think the hi utsuri will be a stunner and your best koi of the group
Try give them a lot new water, good nutrition and they’ll develope to their fullest potential
They will do best when water temperature is over 68f to 78f for growing
Good luck and happy koi keeping

Ah I see you have pebbles at the bottom of the pond...it's best to remove them.
