I purchased as Chawan Basu not sure that it is but this is first bloom
I grow mine in a large water tight pot. Next season will divide and place in a lily pond I have that has been sitting to let it spread

I have three that have overwintered in the same pots for at least 10 to 12 years. This past winter we broke records on how cold we got one night before Christmas and one of mine died. It was the healthiest one of the three too.
