I had a visitor last year attempt to get to my fish, and in the process my goshki became entangled in the net.
The fish is healthy, the only bite/claw mark has long since healed, but both pec fins are stubs. When the fish became entangled, it damaged both fins to the point where 70% of both are gone. If the pec fins were 2 inches before, they are about 3/4 now.
Rays and webbing between them gone. The fish gets along fine now, it's just aesthetics at this point. Would that be expected to grow back or will she forever have nubs now?
We have a fish that had her right pectoral fin completely bitten off by a snapping turtle. The leading ray was totally gone. Everything except the leading ray grew back, but as you can imagine it's not very functional. So, for your situation, given the extent of the injury and the amount of time that has passed, I would be very surprised to see it grow back.
