One koi with raised scales, with VIDEO

Hi,
I noticed yesterday that one of my koi has some slightly raised scales but otherwise seems healthy. Roughly 10 scales are raised along the left side, with 3 more just above the left operculum. 3 scales are slightly raised similarly on the right side.
No other koi are exhibiting issues. The koi is active and eating well and water parameters are good.

Today I dropped the GoPro in the pond and got some video that shows the scales I am concerned about.
Please take a look? I would appreciate any helpful feedback.

I don't see any redness, so I am going to say it should just be watched. The cause of the ones on the side appear to be from scraping the side of something solid. This could be a skimmer weir, a pump, rocks, or other hard surfaces.

Since you mentioned there are scales raised on the other side as well. Is there a place that this koi could get stuck and then have to back out? Scale raised by operculum as well.

Thank you. I will continue to monitor it. My pond is pretty empty of anything to scrape on right now, but they can find their way into trouble when they want to.
Water temperature is 53F so they're not super active but everyone seems happy.

I don't really see anything that could've caused the scale damage.
I did lost a doitsu last year due to internal infection, the first symptom was a line formed protruding along the horizonal middle line of the body on both sides, then came pink/red streak on the body, so I'd recommend monitoring the situation.

Try to set up an indoor tank which warmer temp will speed up the healing faster in case thing get worse
Elbagin and salt usually take care this issue with an eye blink with controllable water volume

I just noticed one of my showa is showing a couple of raised scales, with a slight tint of pink. The heavy rain in NorCal definitely didn't help.

Should I salt the pond, if so how much?

Hold off on the salting, do you know how many gallons your pond is? Salting is going to kill the nice green carpet algae you have.
Do you have test kit to measure water quality? Namely we are looking for ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, KH, and pH value.

If you have baking soda at home I'd drop like 1lb into the pond immeidately.

Salt does nothing for bacterial issues or injuries. And you should start a thread of your own. To avoid confusion.

As of today I'm happy to report the scales are almost back to normal.
