      Happy Holidays

Was an unseasonably cold morning here in SWFL, but were still a couple blooms to be found Not unlikely that the waterlily simply didn't close in the cold after opening in yesterday's mid-70's, but I'll take what I get. <g> The Coreopsis is a blooming champ, even this time of year.

Same to you Gary and may your New Year be merry as well...and your grown thumbs, once again, work their wonders!

After New Years and the lilies in a shallow pond survived four nights in the 30's over Xmas and have begun to bloom again. The blues always seem to restart first, the pinks second and I'll see the night bloomers again sometime in the Spring. I've discussed this with other professional growers, most notably Rich Sacher and the greater tolerance for blue lilies to recover from the cold seems to be the common consensus.
