Bolivia was a beautiful lily but not very well known.
Sometimes my deep red Almost Black lily looked so dark that the photos looked like this, with no alterations other than cropping.
And yet another brightly blooming lily that was among my top favorites was Miami Rose. Some didn't like it because it over wintered so well, and was easily propagated, making it easily kept. It's color and ease of growing made it a great lily to have in the pond! And love those pads!
Since we had to cancel our trip to Hawaii, maybe this pic of the hardy lily Hawaiian Gold will help ease the pain!![]()

This was an exquisite lily to have in my pond. King of Siam provided rich color and statuesque form in its elogence.
It is turning cold and rainy here so I want to remember past summers to warm my soul and remind me of the hope for next year! Not only do I miss seeing the lilies, I also miss the lotuses! Hello Mrs. Perry Slocum, with your large stature and changing colors.

Another beautiful lotus which I love to see bloom each summer is one I got from Gray Cat, and it is The President!
