I found this fish today in my pond. approximately 4 years old. water quality is good. we are just coming out of winter.
I have ordered parzi and fmg as a most likely treatment for my 10,000 gal pond.
am I on the right track

Do you know how long it had been dead?
My initial thought was bacterial gill disease, which Prazi or F/MG wouldn't do anything for.
IF it is BGD it's usually caused by water conditions but I've seen just one fish effected so I'd keep an eye on the others
coming out of winter. Typical symptoms you might see is frequent lying on the pond bottom while others swim normally. Also
quickly rising to the pond surface and taking a quick gulp of air and releasing it through their gills as they swim away. I've
pulled and inspected the gills of fish doing this and not seen any damage... but under inspection months later their gills
appear damaged similar to your picture.
A product called BGDX by Ardent Labs used to be the go to for BGD but I think it is no longer available.
Chlorimine T is another treatment. I've also seen potassium permanganate suggested but I have no experience
with it so can't say one way or the other.
Sorry for your loss but I'd keep an eye on the others and if you have rocks on the pond bottom or ways
debris can collect and decay, consider trying to remove them. Also clean any neglected filtration.
There have been no additions to this pond in 7 years. ( this fish was an hatch 4 years ago) filtration ran all winter and we do a weekly water exchange. other fish seem fine.
fish was dead only 1 day, but I did see that in was on the bottom, but we have had cold weather so was not too concerned as that is where they go when it gets cold.
there is no rocks or debri build up in the pond.
that being said I will keep an eye out on the other fish.
the gills have quite a bit of mucous build up in spots and it is hard tell but seem to attached in one spot that lead me to think of gill flukes.
I have had some duck land in my pond which is new.
