Hi, any clues what species of plant this is? Sprouted from a packet of mixed wetland seeds.

Looks like Primrose to me.
Very Pretty, What ever it is!
I have a plant ID app on my phone, but I left it on my desk at work. I'll be there in an hour and a half. I can check then. Leaves and all those stamens are definitely not primrose so, no clue what it is.

At first I hated it, but by the end I loved it."

Paul, you need a better camera! Wow! Or maybe it's just the focal point?
In any case, even though it's kinda hard to tell, I'm guessing that's a mimula. AKA monkey-flower. There are lots of colors and varieties. A sample:

Thanks, probably I down-sampled the photo too much in order to post it!
I'm thinking Mimulus.

Picture is so blur.. but yeah It looks like primrose ... i am not sure
Looks like Mimulus, aka Monkey Flower to me. Here in Oregon Zone 8, if you let them go to seed, they propogate like mad.
Thank you Nancy, it has been a relatively mild winter, with very little snow and night-time temperatures seldom below freezing and well above under the cover. It is a bit of a learning curve to see what will thrive in gravel and water but most of the plants I put in last June seem to have done well. As mentioned elsewhere I just ordered some more Lobelia Queen Vic, a marsh geranium and considering a few more varieties of Canna lillies (hope they can stay in over winter?). All the "proper filtration plants" are really spreading and seem to be doing their job, water tests yesterday with the Hanna checkers were NH3 0.00ppm, NO2 24 ppb.
Weather has been a bit cooler and wet last few days but from Sunday it should go up well in the 70's
Kind regards from over here!
