      Any idea what those plants growing at the center are? They look like plants I see growing down here in the Tampa Bay area, in the drainage ditches.

      Not certain. They looked very much like a species of Pontederia. A little big for Pontederia cordata, but it might be a cultivar?

      Looks like some type of Thalia. It is often found growing along the road side in water or boggy areas in Florida.
