Summer 2021 Water Lilies and Lotus blloms.

It has been several years since I have shared any pics so I hope you enjoy them. My lilies started blooming mid May. I have several blooms everyday.

I will be adding pics during the summer to this thread.

I have three different lotus. The "President" is the largest one in height.

This is me with the "President". LOL

      Bump. for more summer blooms/growth.
I potted the "Colorado" about 6 weeks ago (used 3 healthy divisions in 19" squat pot), the yellow is supposed to be "Paranee", but there is very little red streaking, probably got a weak sport of it, it was potted at the same time as "Colorado" but was just a start of a rhizome at the time, off to the left is "Director George T Moore" (potted less than 2 weeks ago).
This is much better than the pond full of cattails I had at the beginning of the year. Aphids were going crazy on the lilies so I sprayed pam cooking spray on them after the pics, hose the pads off tomorrow.

Looks very nice! I have "Colorado" and it seems to grow very fast in my pond.

      Thanks for sharing your pic.

How beautiful. I just love their blooms. Water Lettuce also likes to be crowded too. Of course they bloom but the blooms are tiny and hide under the leaves.

Beautiful blooms. Very pretty pads too.

I use soil from my yard and feed them with PondTabbs.

AMazing Flowers! THe President is STUNNING! Absolutely Gorgeous! It's pics like that that have.... inspired (?) me to grow some ;-)
Mine are NO where near as mature. I started some seeds a few weeks back. Some were for Micro (bowl) lotus and the others are native N. lutea. All just sent up their first aerial leaves. Told I can expect a flower on my Micros at about 17 days.... Getting excited!
