      Ginrin Goshiki

      Here is my new Goshiki from Hiroi koi farm. The beni is very clean and really red (not sure the picture does it justice). The net pattern is just starting to form. You can see the 1st 2 pics are from September of last year and shows no black. The new photos from april show the black netting starting to form. By next year it should be fully formed.

      Born 2018 18 inches.. Goshiki are not bread for size. They dont really get as big as gosanke would. It will probably top out around 20-22" in my pond, if that. I don't feed 12 times a day.. 4 at most.

      Oh that's real unfortunate. I would've tried to get it to 26-28 cap. It's too pretty
