Where have they gone???

Wakin goldfish that is! They are no where to be found! Not on e-bay, raingarden seems to be out of business, not on nextdaykoi, no where. Blackwater Creek has some, but man, the prices!

Anyone have a source?

I just got one about a week ago at one of the LFS about 3" long for $18.99. My DW mistaken it for a Koi, but I knew it was some kind of GF.

Where do you see that on Amazon?

I have a pair of Wakin that I got from Raingarden about 8 years ago. They had great stock that they were breeding themselves, but theyclosed up when a hurricane destroyed their fishhouse. Too bad - a great loss to the goldfish community. There used to be so many good fancy and hard to find breeds of pond goldfish sellers, but they have mostly disappeared. Besides Blackwater Creek, you can sometimes find Wakin on Aquabid or Dandy Orandas, LiveAquaria or AquariumFish.net

Doing a quick search I could not find any for sale at this time.

Blue Ridge has them, but they are wholsale only - maybe they will tell you where to find their fish at a retailer?

Thank you for the information. Like you, I had purchased some yellow wakins from raingarden a few years ago. I have exhausted the sources you listed, even nextdaykoi. Blackwater Creek has some nice fish but.... WOWZA, their prices!!!
