This is my second oldest Koi, not sure if it is male or female. Any feedback would be great.

The best way to tell is to turn it over and look at the vent.. If its got a slit and the vent is protruding from the body (like an outie belly button) then its a female. If it looks like a circle and flat to the body its a male.

Thanks for the info. Chuck, I should have looked at the detail on it the other day. But from what I could tell from the other day when I looked at it, it could be male (but I am not sure).

WOW, really? (No pun intended, of course) This one I really got from a respectable place, and it's still a mutt. Dang, I must have picked the wrong one! I shouldn't have waited the other two guys took all the good ones that day. They wre picking them out like flies. LOL! And I thought I brought a good respectable Koi from Japan.
