Looks great, very neat. Thinking about a tent over the next couple of weeks?

Finally had our concrete day last week! We are thrilled with how it turned out. Now on to the filtration pit before it turns into a swamp

Slow progress on getting the filtration and plumbing completed. I ended up switching from a bakki shower to an AlphaOne pressure filter due to supply issues, but won't receive it until sometime in late November. This last weekend I had to manually drain about 200 gallons out of the pond and rake out a bunch of debris that had accumulated since the concrete was shot. I got the return ends cleaned up, the return valve cluster finished, and BDs fully installed. Trying to get at least the sieve and the pump running this coming weekend to manage the debris. I'll hook up the UV along with the AlphaOne once I receive it.

Looks great! Amazing how fast the filtration area fills up, isn't it?!!

Showers are pretty easy to DIY if later on you decide to change out from the pressure filter. Any
plumbing I'd size to keep the shower option open just so it's still possible if in the future you want
      to try it.

Yes! I thought I had dug too big of a hole and now have to go even bigger haha. So tired of digging and no place for the dirt.

And good thought about keeping my options open for the shower later although with the cost of this filter I hope it’ll work well enough I won’t need a shower in addition

Well done, I bet you can see the light at the end of the tunnel. Are you going to eventually consolidate the walls/floor of the filter pit? I may have missed it but do you have a drain in the filter pit ?

Yes that walls will either be cmu block or I may have the shotcrete guys come back if we can afford it. There will also be a sump pump in the filter pit eventually

Cleanouts and gate valves for the bottom drains installed and connected to the skimmer and sieve! Took a lot longer than I'd planned and had to enlarge the filter pit unfortunately. I'm hoping to get the pump set up and running with the sieve only by next weekend ::fingers crossed::

Glad it's not just me who underestimated the size of the filter pit I needed

Completed the pump and sieve circuit today and successfully tested the air on the rhino drains! Think I'll need some valve control for the air lines... a little bit aggressive on full bore. Will add the pressure filter and UV once they arrive. Waiting for the pond to fill now, but hoping to turn on the switch tomorrow!

Do your have a flow control valve on the discharge side of the pump? I like a check valve on the discharge of the pump too to prevent reverse flow when you lose power.

I do! It is perfectly hidden in that photo (it's facing the pond)
