I think adding a school of 100-200 mosquito fish, or perhaps some white clouds, will make my pond more lively, but I'm concerned, if the goldfish have eggs and fry, will these other tiny fish eat that?

I don't know if they will eat Goldfish's fry. But if the fry are small enough like larvae of mosquitoes, they probably will. (maybe) That's just my speculation. Since they also eat their youngling too. "mosquitofish have also shown cannibalistic behavior on the young of their own species."

Yes, mosquito fish eat anything that moves and a lot of stuff that doesn't move.
I put 25 -30 Mosquito fish in my pond and they all died out. I suspect that my koi ate them. If you have any koi, you might want to make sure they have somewhere to hide.
I've heard nothing good about Mosquito fish. They overwhelm the pond and don't even always get all the mosquitoes. Consider yourself lucky the Koi ate them.
Goldfish do eat mosquito larva. I would 100% go that route before dumping in any mosquito fish. I believe some states have banned mosquito fish due to how invasive they are... Just my $0.02, but you can google and I'm sure it won't take long to find horror stories about mosquito fish taking over ponds.
