      Question

WOW I can't believe it s been four years since I've been in this forum. I often wonder what is going on in other lives.

I hate to just drop in to ask a question, but I know that the most knowledgeable people on water health are here.

I am in the process of moving my vegetable garden closer to the house and now it will be possible to use water from my water gardens with fish on my vegetables---BUT---is that good for my health? I have googles and can't find an answer.

Unless you are treating your water with meds, it is fine. No different than any other organic fertilizer. Adding dechlor, calcium/magnesium and sodium bicarb is fine for both plants and humans as well. Is there anything specific you are concerned about?

Thank you. It seems the common population/no idea'ers are saying e-coli is a danger. No more so that a bird flying over or a frog in the garden IMHO. I'm just putting in so much work to "move" my soil into containers that I don't want to do all this work and then make somebody sick

I water all my vegetables with discharge water from my koi pond filters, plus I make fertilizer out of a sealed container of decomposing herring! Some common sense advice would be to water the soil and root zones only as opposed to spraying directly onto the vegetables themselves. That being said, I still fertilize my root crops this way and eat them with just a quick rinse ...
