yesterday I obviously posted a post here that I meant to be posting in Member's Lounge. I had been there and then went here and left for a few minutes and when i returned i forgot I had gone to this forum. To the person who was severely upset by this, you did not have to read it and could have just skipped over it realizing it was unintentional.
So on with the game and the fun.

*Cl* You are correct! It was azolla! It is a quick growing tiny (about 1/4 inch in diameter) floating plant. Fish love to much on it, but if not enough fish o keep it eaten back, it can cover a pond in no time.
Now, here is today's pond plant! This one might be too easy to recognize.

Lizard Tail is the bush plant that has a blooming stalk that has lots of little white flowers that form what resembles a lizard's tail! It is a hardy plant that can die back and reappear the following year. Just keep its "feet" wet!

And now on to another plant to identify!

Parrots Feather. Wasn't here to play but I knew the Yellow Flag Iris and Lizards Tail. I have had both.

Is that Parrots feather or something else. Kat sent me a type that did not drape it stayed up right and about a foot tall but have never seen it anywhere else and it finally died out with most of my pond plants.

Yes, it is parrots feather! Also sometimes called "bottle brush" this feathery looking plant grows across the top of the water and then turns up so that it's ends stay up out of the water to about 10".

      And now for today's plant!
