One of my five "mud ponds".

I am going to attempt photos in this thread... wish me luck... lol...

This my main catfish pond right beside our house. It was built in 1975 by the third owner back from us. I am not sure when it was stocked with catfish, I know the large mouth bass have been in my biggest pond for right around 35 years. This pond is right about 65 to 70 feet in diameter on the average and 14 feet deep in the middle half of it sloping up to shallows about 3 feet deep at the edges. This pond is very popular with the wild Canadian geese and wild ducks in the spring and summer. We also have a blue heron that returns every year and hangs out in the branches of the pine trees beside the pond and fishes for our catfish in the pond.

I milled up some lumber on the mill and made a dock, using milk jugs inside wooden boxes for flotation devices to build a dock with... Some of our kids helping me with the project....

Jarad my third oldest son was not only quite helpful building the dock but he also helped me mill up all the lumber we used to build the dock...

This pond has thousand of bullhead catfish in it, not the biggest fish, the largest I have seen in here are about 12 inches long. They sure are tasty fish though...

      Try now.

MoutainGuardian, instead of placing your pics in an "Album", check out these tutorials of posting
pics and it'll allow people to see your photos in threads easier:

Sorry, I didn't realize about the photo thing. I have not done a whole lot of forum stuff before and what forums I have done that is basically how I did it before was using their system uploading photos into my album and then adding the generated IMG link they gave into the post.

I honestly hadn't paid any attention to any of the symbology on the header of the post window or anything. I will use the upload photo deal to post pics as I am looking at the header above this post I now see the "insert image" square...

      Thanks for the info...
