Two White Streaks on Fin of Koi Fish that End in Small Blisters

One of my fish has developed two small white blisters on the end of its fin in the last three weeks. As you can see from the attached photos, there are faint white streaks from the blister into the fin itself. There are no other symptoms. This fish along with its eleven companions are all quite active and still eating throughout this relatively warm winter here in California. Water quality is excellent. I greatly appreciate any information you could provide.

This looks very much like carp pox, and if so, it should go away when the water warms. That being said, just in case, kindly provide your water temp plus test numbers for ammonia, nitrite, nitrite, KH and pH, the gallonage of your pond, type of filtration and number of koi.

Graybird, thank you so much for your quick reply and diagnosis. I Googled carp pox and came across many photos that are almost identical to the ones I posted. Per your request, here are my latest pond numbers:

      Water Temp: 47.5 degrees
      Wide Range pH: 7.5
      Ammonia: 0 ppm
      Nitrite: 0 ppm
      Phosphate: 0 ppm
      Nitrate: 20 ppm

I have never tested KH level but will do so going forward.

My koi pond was built in 2019 as an in-ground concrete swimming pool but you wouldn't know it due to the black plaster and the natural looking flagstone edging. The total gallons is ~ 5900. I have a Century 2.7 HP Variable Speed Pool Motor dedicated for filtering the pond water through an Ultima II Bio Mechanical filtration system that can handle up to 10,000 gallons. There is an identical motor that is dedicated for the waterfall and water aeration.

I have 12 koi that range in size from about 12-20 inches. All were quarantined at least 30 days before entering the pond and all tested negative for KHV via testing performed by the Immunology / Virology Lab at UC Davis. I don't plan to add any more koi since it's hard for me to keep track of them every day let alone remember their names

Let me know if you need any additional information or have any concerns.

I was just about to make a post about this. One of my koi seems to have a white streak on its left fin. That is carp pox too?
