      Waterfall moss and plant ?

      Hi guys,

Im in Socal when temp low at mid 30 and high 90. I want to create plant bed and wall for waterfall. I searched but couldn't find it. Beside Java moss, christmas moss, I'm looking other moss and plant for my waterfall.

PS: my nursery's preorder still can't find Fiber Optic Rush. If anyone has it and willing to share. Please let me know.

      Thank you
      Tony

I dont know how too help. You live in a place so different to where I live. I used too have all kinds of aquatic plants but I got too where I could not do that much anymore. Maybe someone from where you are at will answer I hope so.

you could plant inpatiences.i flush all the dirt out with a garden hose, put the bare root in a wet spot on the waterfall. it takes a little while to get use to being bare root. the plant will grow to over 3 ft. in diameter full of flowers.keep the plant away from the main stream of water .it will block the water fall

Your pond looks great. Are the rocks fabricated or real? How about a couple of pictures of the remaining pond?

I'm glad I found those Fiber Optic Rush. It soft the rocks a bit and helps to fight green algae on rocks. Those rocks are man made from cement and rebars. Here is where we start and end everyday. We love and enjoy it.

Added. A good friend from college gave us 6 big koi when he shut down his pond. They ate about 30 inches and more.

The pond and spillway concrete work is extremely nice. I fabricated our spillway and edges and I know how difficult that is. All your concrete show a craftsman with a real mastery with a trowel and shaping tools. I haven't had any luck with our native moss to bond to our "rocks", I will try again this winter when the rains return. Thanks for posting the pictures.
