      Finally got some time to trim the wen on my wife's crown pearlscale fancy goldfish...

      I tried to sedate the goldfish with Clive oil but I didnt know if it affects goldfish the same way it sedates the koi..

      I'm sure there are nerves there. It's a very common practice to trim the wen if kept untrimmed they'll won't be able to look for food or know where to swim...

      I put them to sleep before trimming, don't want them flopping around, and poke them in the eye. Don't know about nerves, but no bleeding when trimming.
      The only finished bonsai is a dead one

      5-6 drops of clove oil in a bucket. Shake drops and some water well in a plastic bottle first as oil and water don't want to mix very well.
