Doesn't seem like the best business position to advertise fish in their worst shape....

If you're still interested in this fish, I'd ask them to send another picture once the fish clears quarantine and is ready for sale.

I have by tomorrow (Dec 4th) to make the payment or else it goes to the public. Lol...

They are good and professional people, though. It's Sacramento Koi.

Oh that's right. I am in Sacramento. Never been to their store or purchased from them but I have heard good things. They seem to be a lot more careful with QT now after the KHV outbreak.

How old is this koi? Ake nisai?

I requested a Tosai, but I would have to guess it is Ake Nisai. They didn't specify. Infact, all I'm given is:
      Breeder: Otsuka
      Serial #: 2002892**
      Sex: Female
      Size: 14 inches

My eye sight's not what it used to be,but it looks very laid back in the bowl cruising.

Somebody will snap it for sure.

Haha yes, never been. I had a pond back in 2018 but didn't really care about it, in 2019 I got a little more interested, and finally in 2020 I got more serious about this hobby. So maybe as Covid gets better next year I will drop by.

I'm going to pass on her. All of the fish are going to be up and viewable at 5PM PST today if you guys are interested! Not associated with them, just feeling guilty for backing out of the pre-order... haha

I get that they are nice people but their koi always seem a little overpriced for what they are.

I also think Koi Enterprise koi are overpriced too, especially their nisai. I normally just stay with the sub $100 tosai. I wish there was a place where the dealer would let the customers pick from the whole stock vs dealer pre-screen and separate into different price tanks. I think Champkoi has a much better selection for the price and quality.

What do you think of the Shiro Utsuri in this bowl? http://www.champkoi.com/koi/group/OCT2020-200

Or a mix of everything. When I visit Koi Enterprise, pretty much all the tosai that I like are in the $250 tank and nisai within the $500 - $1200 range...and at that price point, I ask myself why buy here. Most of their koi come from Suda and Yamasan.
