      Isa Showa

      This Showa caught my eye.
      Nisai, 45cm
      Breeder : Isa

The fins are a little yellowish compared to the body .
The sumi is not up yet at the body , but I am hoping it will in the future.
      What do you think?

I would not be ashamed of it.

Try and get the body into shape.

I think it has great potential.

Give it all you got, it is worth it.

      Nice pattern!

      Garfield.

Yup! The Shiroji in the tail base makes them look bigger when they're grown out more especially. I really like the head pattern also!!! How the Sumi matches the shape of his mouth, for now anywayzz!

Sorry for my question, as I am still learning. I just wonder if the tail tube should not look like this?

I think it looks just fine. The tail tube actually look quite tall which is a good thing. Width wise it's impossible to tell with side profile shots and even from above with distorted water reflection. It either is male or just skinny, or both...I would feed more if filtration and temperature allow.

It’s a male and one of the better eaters in the pond. Unfortunately, could not grow sideways, just grown taller

      It grew from 17” to 20 “ . Don’t think it will grow beyond 24 “

You never know, it may bulk up. Anyway looks real smart with the three colours close to each other
