      Kanokos and Ochiba

Purchased these a couple of weeks ago and they should be in my pond by January or so. Ginrin Ochiba (20") from Maruhiro, Kanoko Sanke (13") from Maruhiro, and a Kanoko Showa (22") from Isa. Any thoughts are welcome. I've had a weird attraction to Kanoko lately

Would that be considered a birth defect?

I don't so might be from lack of oxygen or it could be in the middle of breathing a video would be better to tell.

Thanks for pointing that out SacTown. I will check on it. You can see it in video I posted too. She was in the tub for 30 minutes or so at the Maruhiro greenhouse while I was face-timing with the dealer and deciding whether to buy her. Wouldn't think that would be enough time to deplete oxygen, but I'm no expert.
