This is my favorite fruit. I tried to grow couple in my old house but the summer here is not long enough.. I may try it again..

no no... i just like trimming them so they dont get out of control.. I like low hanging fruits!!!

Did our peach tree today. It produced lots of peaches this year.

I have a giant fuyu persimmon tree. We eat as much as we can and then peel and dehydrate most of them so we can eat them all winter. When dehydrated they get much sweeter. Hard to keep the birds from eating the fruit at the top of the tree because after the leaves drop in December the remaining persimmons are bright red and look like xmas ornaments.

What got us to plant a persimmon tree was watching a few videos of them in japan. Plan was to leave them on the tree but we noticed a few were being consumed by birds as well. We leave majority in the fridge and leave a basket to ripen in our kitchen.

Did the plum tree today. Turned out there are 3 different variety of plums grafted into one. My suspicions were right.. three different type ripen at different times this stretching out harvest time...
