What I miss most about California is being able to grow tropical fruit. I see a pomegranate coming from the neighbors yard, totally miss that

Been ponding for a while, with lots of successes, and lots of failures.

What state do you reside in now? My neighbors pomegranate is a different smaller variety than ours.

Here's some of our other trees that's currently fruiting

We live is bakersfield now but have relatives in san jose, Anaheim. I dont know how people live in those expensive cities. You can get 3000+ squarefeet home for half the price on a bigger lot...

I definitely do not miss the traffic either

Yes, it is very expensive there, one of the driving forces of leaving. Illinois, you can get a house the same size for a quarter of the price.

I do enjoy doing it as long as it's not too hot so I tend to do it in the early mornings

I love Illinois but stay away unless you enjoy being taxed. They are about ready to tax our taxes!

I have always liked it, but my body now rebels.

I have a 20 year old that helps me now when he has time. I think sometimes he is amazed that I used to do all of it by myself.

I have learned and now loved to do yardwork. But some days, I feels lazy and don't want to do anything at all. Other day, my back gives out faster than I can say ouches.
