Tiny eggs or larvae on external pump basket

I recently joined the forum in hopes of figuring this out. I have an approximately 4K gal koi pond. In my pump basket and my skimmer basket, there are hundreds of these greenish 4mm long eggs or larvae. I don't see any movement, but they're stuck on the baskets pretty good. I have to use high hose velocity to get them off. Can anyone tell me what they are? I appreciate the help. Hopefully, the pics will post.

Looks like a fly/natt larvae. On your warerfall or in your skimmer basket you will probably see these attached in their worm form.
Dimlin is supposed to help with preventing them from reaching the fly/natt stage of their life cycle. Also Pre-Strike Mosquito Torpedo works. I have been use that with good success for the last few years.
For me it was an issue because my filter pit is enclosed and I would end up with a bunch of these bugs flying around in there. Which resulted in tons of spiders coming in to take advantage, and the resulting spider webs.

Thanks. That’s great news. I was afraid that it might be something that would hurt the koi.
