Looking for the baby turtles in my pond.

      Hello

I have a pond in my parents back yard. It is a natural spring that comes off a hill side that feeds into it.

I put 5 baby sliders in it and watched them

I also setup 2 Arlo video cams in case predators try and mess with them

I seen one the first day and that was it. Its been 7 days and I have not seen any.

The pond is 3 feet deep
      250 square feet
      High banks
      Many basking areas
The daily temp here in Seattle is about 75 with some 80 days
There are tad poles no fish.
Muf is soft sand in some places and Sediment

My question is if the turtles are hiding is there any way to get them to come out?

I would appreciate any help or ideas

      Thank you

My guess is that they crawled out of the pond and left.

They may still be in the pond. They were given the name "sliders" because of how fast they will slide off of logs or the bank of the pond when someone or something walks up to the pond. Once they learn you are there to feed them they will swim up to you in the water. It is only been a week. If you have a cam , you could sit it up to watch to see if they are coming out during the day when no one is around.
