      I think it's a pretty unique koi. I see that it has motoguro developing and some sumi developing here and there too. Could this be an Ochiba Utsuri?

      this is the first time i've heard of ochiba utsuri ... i'll do some research

      yes sir a tosai. i lost my favorite ochiba when i transferred my koi to a smaller "container" while the new pond was being built. (when i let too long of a time pass without a water change)
